Survey Results - Maternity Care in 2020, before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, in Humber and North Yorkshire

Couple, baby and Cot

The Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) group opened two surveys in July asking for peoples' experiences of maternity care in 2020, before and during the pandemic. 838 responses were received in the first four days and a summary of key findings are presented in this report.

The impact of restrictions due to COVID-19 are highlighted, alongside feedback on changes to maternity care services and the actions in place and recommended to address the points raised.

The MVP would like to thank all the expectant and new parents for sharing their experiences and providing such great insight into what it is like to have a baby during the pandemic.
