Work placement - GRACE Project

GRACE project at Scunthorpe and Grimsby (NLAG Trust)

  • Students who are doing a health and social care T-level at Grimsby Institute can apply
  • 4 students per cohort
  • Personal statement and interview
  • 1 day per week placement in term time, in gynaecology, breast care, paediatrics and maternity (for 2 years)

Nursing placements are also available for those who are not able to do the GRACE project

“The GRACE Programme has been a fantastic opportunity to showcase the breadth of women’s health services at NLAG. By opening up maternity, gynaecology, breast care and paediatrics to T-level students, we’ve been able to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and give them a real insight into the rewarding careers available within the NHS. It’s been a privilege to welcome over 20 students across Grimsby and Scunthorpe and to see their passion for patient care grow through these clinical observational placements.”
